Zig Zag Claybourne is the author of The Brothers Jetstream: Leviathan (Obsidian Sky Books, 2016) and its forthcoming sequel Afro Puffs Are the Antennae of the Universe (should he ever finish writing the *curse word* thing). Other novels include By All Our Violent Guides and Neon Lights. His essays on science fiction, fandom, and life in general have appeared in Apex, Strange Horizons, and other genre venues.

His short story collection Historical Inaccuracies (Narmer’s Palette, 2013) once topped a collection from Neil Himself on Amazon for about 3 seconds, likely due to its barbarian Smurf story, but one never knows. Other shorts have appeared in various anthologies, including Sunspot Jungle (Rosarium Publishing, 2018), Alt History 101: The Future Chronicles (Windrift Books, 2015), and The City: A Cyberfunk Anthology (MVmedia, 2015)

He wishes he’d grown up with the powers of Gary Mitchell or Charlie X, but without the Kirk confrontations (SF points docked for anyone not getting said reference). He spent many hours in front of The Twilight Zone and considers himself a better person for it.

Claybourne lives in Detroit, where he fine-tunes his plot for world literary conquest and supple book groupies. You can find his wordy bits scattered throughout the web, but if you really want to get to know him the door’s always open at www.writeonrighton.com.
